Do what you believe and you will end up where you belong – Karim Rashid

Not the best shot in the world it is quite dark in the apartment but the little guy seems to be growing. The little guy is helping me with the patience but soon projects need to be manifesting and I need to get myself to work. This fall feels like a rebirth hard to explain how one can feel suc h a way when the sun is going down earlier.

A little over a week ago I found a caterpillar to be munching on my new mint plant. He was wooly and cute and thought it might be nice to have a pet caterpillar. He came in to find warmth I can try to help out in the process. He munched his way through almost the entire plant then disappeared. A few days later there was a white blob on the only leaf left on the plant. So I will just keep checking in on him while he mutates. I believe in final form he may be an isabella moth but am not positive.

Progress…sort of

I am still going to think about the subhead. The “I should have worked on it just a little bit more” business plan made its way via fedex to the library in time. I will need to revisit the plan quite a bit and am looking around for grants. On other fronts have gone for 2 weeks in a row with Liz to Drink & Draw in Williamsburgh’s 3rd ward – it has been super fun with flowing colt 45′s and false food snacks aplenty- here are some samples of the first week

Last weekend went up to Frost Valley the sleepaway camp I use to go to as a kid- there was a mini reunion for those that were in ranch camp. I only did ranch camp for a week but still knew people that were there. It was cool the guy who ran the program at the reunion had a picture of my horse Laredo. I was mostly a happy camper especially at frost valley. The year before going to frost valley i was ten years old and had auditioned and gotten into a dance camp that was 2 weeks in Saratoga, NY. The teachers and classes were great the rest of it freaked me out – looking back i had some social anxiety and well the big kids were scary. Wow just found a link http://www.briansky.org/ and sadly this is their last year.  Well, at year 11 I ended up venturing to Frost Valley and was part of Iscusfa the Arts village not sure when but they got rid of that specialty they have an arts and crafts though. And stayed at Frost Valley until my C.I.T summer when I turned sixteen. The following summers until graduation I stayed at home to deliver papers and worked at a local day camp.

Anyway It was a nice weekend spending time with camp buddies I took some photos- I really need to get on top of the ole’ flicker thing- add it to the unending lists. Here is the painting that i worked on up there on sunday it is at C.I.T. point looking at Lake Cole. I really treasure the time at camp I was a lucky kid.
